He is one of the pioneers and co-inventors of “perforator flap surgery”. Prof Blondeel is the current president of the European Association of Plastic Surgery (EURAPS) and as a world-renowned expert on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

Marlon Buncamper

Marlon E. Buncamper is a plastic, reconstructive, micro and gender surgeon. In 2013 he became a fellow of the European Society of Sexual Medicine, and in 2016 he received a PhD. on his research on the penis inversion vaginoplasty.
As of September 2020, he was named Professor and is heading the gender surgical department at University Hospital of Gent.
Together with his colleague he performs about 250 gender/genital recon. surgeries a year.

Wouter Peeters studied medicine at the University of Antwerp and KU Leuven and specialized in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at UZ Gasthuisberg in Leuven.
